The Federal Budget Analysis is now available

The budget analysis has been loaded into your Commcontrol account and is ready for you to send to your clients. 

Go to Client Communication and click on "2024-25 Federal Budget round-up"

When sending your Budget analysis please only click the ‘Confirm and Send’ button once. There will be a big queue of emails to be sent. The time taken to send may be a little longer than usual.

Please refrain from clicking on the send-out summary and bounce-back report until later in the day. It will take a little while to load because of the heavy demand.

Instructions for sending the Federal Budget round-up (click here for printable instructions)

  1. Go to http://admin.clientcommunity.com.au and log in with your username and password.

  2. Click on the 'Client Communications' tab (top navigation bar).

  3. Click on the link '2024-25 Federal Budget round-up' in the table. It will be the first link listed.

  4. Check the welcome text. If you want to edit the welcome text click on 'Edit welcome text' in the "Editing options" menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on 'Submit' (bottom of the screen) to save any changes you make to this area.

  5. Send yourself and someone else in your office a test. It is really important that you check everything is correct.

    • Click on 'Send test email' in the navigation bar above the Budget Insights

    • Enter the 'Email notification subject' - For example "2024-2025 Australian Federal Budget Wrap Up".

    • Enter your first name in the 'To name' text box.

    • Enter your email address in the 'To email' text box.

    • Click 'Submit'.

      Tip - if you don't receive the test email send another BUT change the "From email" to support@advant.com.au, this will not change your live send-out email.

  6. Check your test email thoroughly when you receive it in your inbox. If you want to make any changes, go back to the account and repeat steps 4 and 5. Don't forget to send yourself a test again.

  7. Once you are happy with your 'test' email, the budget summary is ready to go.

  8. Make sure you have an up-to-date email list loaded, then select and open the Budget memo and click on 'Send-out'
  9. Click on 'Send out' (top navigation bar) then;

    1. Check the email notification subject.

    2. Click on the 'Send out client alert' tick box and click "Continue".

      If this is not available select "All Subscribers" or select one or one of your mailing groups.

      note: "All subscribers" is every active client email in Subscriber Management!!

    3. On the final send-out screen click on "Check selected email list" and check your email list before clicking on "Confirm and send".
